Who we are
Fonti Studio (Gent, Belgium) is the controller for the personal data described on this page. Full company identification is stated on every quote and invoice, and is provided at contracting and on request via hello@fonti.studio.
What we receive, and why
When you email a brief, we receive the contact and project details you send us (your email address, film title, and the download links you provide). We use them only to evaluate the brief, produce the preview and any paid delivery, reply to you, and invoice you. Legal bases: performance of a contract (or steps before one, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations around invoicing and accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Your master and source files
Film masters and source files are encrypted at rest, hosted in the EU, and purged on your written request or at the latest twelve months after the last delivery. Your master never trains a model. For personal data contained in your materials (including cast voices), we act as processor on your instructions; that processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, including the list of sub-processors and international-transfer safeguards.
Recipients
We share data only with the service providers needed to deliver the work (AI translation and, for dub orders, voice-rendering providers; payment processing; EU hosting), each under contract and, for providers outside the EEA, under an EU adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses. The full, current list is in the DPA. We never sell personal data.
Retention
Project content: purged on request or at the latest twelve months after the last delivery. Correspondence and contract records: for the duration of the relationship and any legal limitation periods. Invoices: as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, by emailing hello@fonti.studio. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
Tracking
The site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site trackers, so there is no cookie banner. The entire engagement is by email, and there is no account to create.
