AI dubbing services: the original cast, in your target language

Fonti Studio dubs features and series for distributors who need the economics of AI dubbing without the failures that get AI dubs pulled off platforms. The voice is the original actor's, cloned from the master you licensed. The music and effects are preserved, never regenerated. And nothing ships until it has passed the gates.

What makes it hold up

Pricing

20-min+ episode45-min+ episodeFeature
Dub, per language€1,200€1,800€3,500

Flat, EUR. A traditional studio dub of a feature runs five figures per language; a self-serve AI tool renders a file that plays but not a master that passes QC. This is the third option: a deliverable, at indie economics.

Honest limits

Two things we tell every buyer up front. Netflix Originals' dialog-stem identity rule cannot be met by any separation-based pipeline, ours included; we claim Branded-delivery compliance for subtitles and disclose this on the dub side. And AI dubs ship dry: per-cue room-tone and perspective conform is your re-recording mixer's craft, not something we pretend to automate.

Common questions

How much do AI dubbing services cost?

Fonti Studio dubs are flat per language, by runtime: €1,200 for a 20-minute-plus episode, €1,800 for a 45-minute-plus episode, €3,500 for a feature. That includes the voice cloning, the mix against your music-and-effects, the broadcast-loudness master, and the QA gates.

Whose voice does the dub use?

The original cast. We clone each actor from the film you already licensed and render the target language through that clone, so the French audience hears the original lead performing in French. We never clone local dub actors; that policy is binding and it is what keeps the dub on the right side of the European personality-rights rulings.

Is AI dubbing legal?

With the right consent chain, yes. The cast agreements need to cover AI voice use, the EU AI Act Article 50 disclosure ships in every deliverable from our side, and SAG-AFTRA-covered titles need the performer consent the 2026 agreement defines. Send us the relevant clause and we will tell you whether your chain clears, free, before you commit.

What do you actually deliver?

A dialogue stem plus a full mixed master, loudness-set to your destination spec (LUFS, true peak, LRA measured and reported), muxed to MP4 for review. AI dubs ship dry: if your post house runs a final dub-into-mix pass with room-tone conform, say so and we deliver the stems accordingly.

How long does a dub take?

The free 5-minute preview comes back within 48 hours of approval. A full feature dub is deeper work: plan on about four weeks, including the QA gates and a human listen pass.
